Marcos,

The log tells you that you are either not on Netview server machine
or you might
run out of space. The integration utility is by default installed in
either /opt/CSCOpx
or /usr/CSCOpx (the default is prompted when you run the program).
You might
want to create a separate file system and allocate 160~200 MB for it.
You shall
also look at /tmp during the installation make sure it's not full.

You didn't see the changes on the netview GUI because the utility is
not installed.

Marcos,

Have you following the installation instruction to install the
utility? Is your installation finished
successfully? You might want to check two logs written by the
installation utility:

      /var/tmp/ciscoinstall.log
      /tmp/nmimintegration.log

The integration utility will create a bunch of registration files in:

      /usr/OV/symbols/C
      /usr/OV/registration/C
      ...

You can go into those directories to see if the new files are added
into those directories.

This can be your first step of checking...

Hi Geoffrey,

Ok, I´ve installed the integration module, but nothing different happens.
I´ve just restarted the Netview and I haven`t seen any new icon or menu. Do
you have any idea?

Thanks

There is an integration utility that you can download from the cisco web
site, by following the
URL: http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/cw2000-utility. You need
CCO
user name and password to get to the page.

The utility is mainly for CiscoView (through netscape browser), Cisco
specific mibs, symbols and etc.

Another integration point is you could let NetView do the autodiscovery and
send the discovered nodes as seed devices to Resource Manager Essentials (a
number of approaches). This can be found in Ciscoworks2000 Resource Manager
Essentials documentation.
