In a way Michael is right regarding the primary purpose for CiscoWorks.
But I would like to add that as a QA tool it serves very well if you are
concerned with configuration management, change management and currency of
IOS etc. Since CiscoWorks tracks and inventories that type of thing. You
can then pull reports.

I would say next to nothing. CW2000 is primarily a administrative tool, not
a monitoring tool.
There might be some information you can use in a troubleshooting situation
like inventory information from RME (e.g. H/W, IOS versions, configurations
etc.), level 2 and VLAN maps from CM and back plane views and adhoc
monitoring from CV.
Michael.

We do not own the management function of our network. We only passively
monitor it for quality assurance.
We have a copy of CiscoWorks2000 but are not sure what added value it
brings in a monitoring only environment.
Can anyone give me a really brief list of the benefits of integrating
CiscoWorks2000 in an environment such as ours?
John
