You are looking for functionality that is not present in the product.

nvserverd.baroc is NOT read by any process in NetView. It is just a
static file. It is to be loaded into your TEC server so that it will
understand the default nvserverd_event sent by the integrated TEC adapter
internal to the NetView nvserverd daemon. But there is no way you can
modify the default portions of that event. You cannot add to them, delete
them, nor change what values nvserverd gives them. You can use trapd.conf
to add additional slot mappings to particular event, or you can specify
your own event classes and mappings for any particular event, but that is
all.

events

Hi there,

we use a Tivoli-TMR and 3 NetViews in different areas
which should embody different event classes.
Now I try to edit the
 /usr/OV/conf/nvserverd.baroc
But the events dont show up right.

#############################################################################
#  #
#  NetView generic trap  #
#  #
#############################################################################
TEC_CLASS :
        Nvserverd_Event ISA EVENT
        DEFINES {
                source: default = nvserverd;
                sub_source: default = asp;
                sub_origin: default = asp;
                category: OVCategoryE;
                nv_enterprise: STRING;
                  :
                  :

Thanks for any help
