[nv-l] snmpCollect for stats reporting

Hi list,

 

Just wondering if anyone is reliably collecting SNMP data through snmpCollect for stats reporting?  I'm thinking about doing this on Solaris with NV 7.1.2.  I only need to collect from about 40-50 devices, approx 15 mins intervals and around 4 mib values per device. 

 

I'm going to feed this into rrdtool to graph up, but a just debating using snmpCollect or writing some scripts to snmpget the values (or mrtg depending on how complex that it to setup).
