Hi Peter,
there is an accepted Enhancement Request (MR1001014355) for that.
But I don't know when this feature will be available. I don't know the
plans
of development.

MfG./ Best regards
Hendrik Zahn (L2 EMEA Tivoli NetView Support)

Hi Peter,
there is a limitation/restriction of current design.
It is not enough to have the default map (with name default) opened but
you must have opened this map in r/w mode.

This is an information from development.

List,

Running AIX 4.3.2 with NV v 7.1.2.

I'm having problems applying a scope to users of the webclient
(standalone).
When ever I apply the scope, I can log them in but they cannot open a map,
it always state that the console (or console daemon) needs to be running
(it
is). When I quit and log in as a user without a scope this works fine. I
have saved the configuration via the gui, and checked that the entries are
added to netviewrealm.properties, the scope is added to the scopeinfo.xml
file. I only have one map, and I have restarted the webserver daemon since
the config change.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Regards

Peter Ingleson
