Hi, I have implemented 7.1 Netview on a Solaris 8 today. I have some simple node down pages and logging of the pages. The paging is done in a script via a ruleset (action node). In the script I am paging and logging: /usr/OV/nvpage.....blah node down $NVATTR_2..... echo `date` Node Down $NVATTR_2 >> /usr/OV/log/node_down_pages.log The funny thing is I am getting $NVATTR_2 like 10\.73\.115\.1 in the logs and pages. So operations are getting paged with this funny $NVATTR_2, I checked the trapd.log, it looks normal (without the slashes) Has someone seen this before? Is there a fix for this? regards, Jack |
