Scott, Wouldn't It would only take affect the next time you ran netnmrc while NetView was down? netnmrc is going to source netnmrc.pre within the same shell. Then netnmrc is going to use ovstart to start the daemons. so the environment will be received by the daemons that is set by netnmrc.
