Why not do something similar to how NetView handles HSRP?
Setup a monitor (script) that checks the sysname of the common interface
that gets moved. When the sysname changes, you know it has failed over.
The script could then generate an SNMP trap so that your normal trap/event
processing could take place within NetView / TEC. You could also control
how often you poll for this event.
For that matter, hmmm. Could you tell NetView that this interface was an
HSRP interface. Then when NetView generates a HSRP event for this
interface..via the hostnames translate that into a Cluster failover trap.
Something worth trying.
