Netview 7.1.3 on AIX 4.3.3 We are getting ready to implement HACMP in our Netview environment. Node A and Node B will be the two Netview servers running HACMP. We have chosen to keep a copy of Netview binaries on each node on its local drive, while keeping our databases (/usr/OV/databases) on a shared drive so both copies of Netview have access to the same database. We also would like to keep /usr/OV/log/trapd.log on the shared drive for disk space reasons. I don't see any problem with doing this way as only the active Netview server will write to the trapd.log. Any comments? Feedback? Cheers, Fawad Qureshi |
