NetView 7.1.3 AIX 4.3.3

This may be off topic but I was wondering if anyone out there has had to
detect Windows 2000 Cluster fail over conditions and what tools you use?

I have tried to detect the fail over condition with NetView and it doesn't
always detect the condition.

Here is what I see when NetView does detect it.

Node A fails over to Node B

Node A loses one of its interfaces and NV issues an Interface Down and an
Interface Deleted event
Node B gains an interface and NV issues an Interface Added event

The problem is I only get these when NV does an SNMP poll so I may not catch
the fail over event in a timely manner. If I list the nodes in the seed file
like $nodea.host.com would that better my odds? I am thinking that NV may
not be the best tool for this.

Thanks,
