Try mapadmin -f .  See the man page for details.

        When I do a file open map it shows three maps as permissions unknown and
comments non-local map.  If I look under /usr/OV/databases/openview/mapdb
the files are not here.  I think someone deleted these old maps but not
from the Netview window.  SInce it wil not allow me to delete it from this
menu how can I get it removed?
