Here is the best I can find: ibm OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { enterprises 2 } ibmProd OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { ibm 6 } umservices OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { ibmProd 159 } cimv2 OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { umservices 1 } ... -- -- win32 components -- win32 OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { cimv2 2 } win32Event OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { win32 0 } win32WMI OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { win32 10 } win32SMBIOS OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { win32 20 } ... >.1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.159.1.2.10.70.1.8 is an OID from an IBM Xseries running .1.3.6.1.4.1.ibm.ibmProd.umservices.cimv2.win32.win32WMI.70.1.8 I did find another MIB CIMWIN2-MIB that defines the branch 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.159.1.2.10.10 but not the 70 branch. HTHs you get started. Dave
How can I trace a specific OID back to the MIB file so I can identify the mib file. .1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.159.1.2.10.70.1.8 is an OID from an IBM Xseries running Win2k and IBM Director. I can't tell from using the mib browser what the value represents.
