We plan to install the DB (DB2) on a server other than the Netview server, probably on our INV4.0 DB server in that we plan populate it with Netview data. Based on what I have read in the manuals, I do not have the Netview database component installed. The Data Base guide mentions the "Netview Database Component" and only says to check for a directory "/usr/OV/scripts", apparently as a confirmation of the component being installed . The Configuration Guide pretty much says the same. The install guide is not clear on this procedure either. |
