Have you had a look at the release notes?   They don't say
specifically for that particular upgrade, but ...

...and both of these docs reference a script /cdrom/TOOLS/NVprereq.sh
on the CD that will do this prerequisite checking automagically and
extend filesystems as needed.   That script takes as an argument what
type of installation you'll be doing.   In your case

       # /cdrom/TOOLS/NVprereq.sh  server_update 

is probably what you want. Assuming /cdrom is your cdrom's mount point
of course...
