You really need to read the section in the Installation and Configuration Guide about sending events to TEC. TEC ships with base files, a netview.baroc and a netview.rls that you should install there as a prereq to sending anything to TEC. Of course, this assumes that you are running with the old Nvserverd_Event class and not TEC_ITS_BASE as your default class. Check your /usr/OV/conf/tecint.conf file to find out. If you are running with TEC_ITS_BASE and not Nvserverd_Event, then nvserverd will use TEC_ITS_BASE and not Nvserverd_Event as the default class for your events. You would then you need to change that baroc file you built. . Ever since 7.1.3 FixPack1 mib2trap accepts a fourth parameter that allows you to specify whatever base class you are using for the baroc. Hi Folks, Aftter running mib2trap on the private mib, I then exported the .baroc files generated to Mastercell... when importing these files, I then get the following error Nvserverd_Event Class not found..... Q1: Does anyone knows where to locate Nvserverd_Event class ? Q2: Any TEC reference would also help Thank You, Meyos .... "ALLEZ LES LIONS INDOMPTABLES"
