The switches aren't being deleted but interfaces are.  Looks like some version of HSRP to me.

Environment: nv6k for AIX  ver 7.1.3. fixpack 1

  The trapd log segment below occurrs for a couple of cisco switches each
day when Netmon does it config poll. I dont understand why they get deleted
and rediscoverd every day ? Can some one explain what  is going on here ?
