Subject: [nv-l] Maximum number of
interfaces per router
Hi List,
I am trying to determine the maximum number of
interfaces per a router that Netview can discover and manage. I found
an
article on the IBM support site that states that Netview on NT and 2000 support
a maximum of 256 interfaces per router.
Is this the same for Unix/Linux ? I have a customer that
wants to install NetView 7.1.4 on Redhat Advanced Server 2.1 and will be
managing a Cisco 7200 series router with 400 interfaces. Has anyone run into
problems managing routers with large number of
interfaces ?
Thank You
Pritesh
