Hello lists,
I am working on NetView 7.1.3 in an AIX environment. I have been trying to get information on the duration of a node or line being down. I have seen the archives on this, and set NMAVAILABILITY=ON in the netnmrc file under /etc directory after stopping all the Netview daemons.
When this did not work, I also modified the file /usr/OV/newconfig/OVMIN/netnmrc. After restarting the daemons, I checked /usr/OV/databases but could not find the file availData.
Could someone pls tell me where I am going wrong and how I can get details of availability.
Thanks,
John
