(1) This is an option on netmon itself. Use serversetup. (2) The NetView Admin Guide. But really you are making that harder than it needs to be. If you trapd.conf is correct INCLUDING the specific trap ids, then you won't get "NO FMT" So what's in your trapd.conf, exactly (cut and paste it)? And what do you see in the trapd.log? Hello all Question 1: How do I disable (turn off RFI) in netview for Windows Question 2: Where is a REALLY good source for defining how to setup OID traps in event configuration in 7.1.4 UNIX. I receive trap with no known format even though I have the entire OID laid out in the xnmtrap configuration area. Thank Chris Petrina |
