For relatively recent events, in the same card format as current events, you can drop Events History from the tool bar into the Control Desk.  It will open in a new Window there, or you can start it outside the control desk by simply typing "/usr/OV/bin/nvela" from the command line.  It starts off blank, so that you can add filter criteria before you populate the display, but if you just want to scroll back through recent events, pull down Query-->Display Event from the top of the window.

The Events History display is not dynamic like the Current Events display is.  The window will not re-populate until you tell it to, using Query-->Display.
But you can only go back as far as the past event log will permit.  You can increase the size of that using serversetup for the ovelmd daemon.  The default size is only 128 KB; you can increase up to 2048 KB.

But to really analyze old events, ones that are days old, you will probably have to look to /usr/OV/log/trapd.log.

Sorry, the question was not well formulated.

When I open a netview session, I see in the control desk only new events and traps. How can I see old events, which occur before opening a session ? Is there a file containing events of the control desk where I can find yesterday's events for example ?

If you have marked
Options -> Save Environment
the Control Desk environment will be saved in /NvEnvironment/Workspaces on exit.
