Unfortunately the client has to follow the same platform of the server. The same previous versions.

You should have the client running on UNIX (AIX. Solaris).

Can I have a NV714 Client installed on a W2K machine pointing to a NV714 Server running on a AIX box ? Or should I also have the Client running on AIX ?

 

This was not possile on previous versions and I am not finding any info regarding this issue at the NV manuals.
