Yes, but  doing that way is not easy.
Have you an understanding of how the internal TEC adapter on UNIX works?
There is a NetView ruleset specified in the   /usr/OV/conf/tecint.conf  file, and that is how events are selected.
To alter what is sent you would have to alter that with the ruleset editor, nvrsEdit.  And then restart nvserverd or use the nvtecia command to stop and then reload it (see the man page for details on nvtecia).

By default, the ruleset used is TEC_ITS.rs, and in that events are simply selected by NetView event id.  Since TEC class is not a property of the event, but specified in trapd.conf, you would have to examine the event in trapd.conf (using xnmtrap is recommended)  and determine it's TEC Event class.  Then you can add or remove that event  from the TEC ruleset.  I'd make a copy of the original under a new name  first, however, so you have a backup.  Of course, you can change to a new ruleset altogether by changing the name in tecint.conf.  This can be done by edit or using serversetup.

[nv-l] Selection of event forwarding to TEC

Hi list,

Is it possible to select which event classes we want to forward to TEC in
NetView for AIX 7.1.4 using non-tme event forwarding ?

The NetView was installed through Tivoli Framewok 4.1.1 in an AIX 5.2
ManagedNode and is working fine.

Thanks in advance.

Mario
