you can fake the installation routine. But please understand that SuSE 9.1 has not been tested with NetView and so this is not supported until now. Either edit /etc/SuSE-release and change the line: VERSION = 9.1 to (for example): VERSION = 8.1 or you can bypass the prerequisite checking (<CDROM>/TOOLS/NVprereq.sh) completely with: touch /tmp/.noNVPrereqCheck Oliver
Any one had any luck installing Netview 7.1.4 on Suse 9.1 I've managed to get over most hurdles so far, but it is now coming up with "Unsupported Version of Linux Operating System" when doing an "instalnv -k SERVER". Any help would be appreciated
