Mario,

NetView can also deal with unnumbered links ... out of the box.
The discovery of the link is depending on the device type.
On Cisco boxes it is discovered from the CDP cache.
On non-Cisco boxes from the routing table.
Of course both ends of the link have to be discovered.
Without link, no unnumbered interface.
