[nv-l] Netview 7.1.4 FP1, DB2 and tdwdaemon

Hi List, 

Linux RH 7.2 with NV 714 FP1, Windows 2k with DB2 v7 FP11

Just wanted to give you a heads up of an APAR in progress # IY61174.  I reported an error that I was receiving in the tdwdaemon log after noticing that some of inbox crystal reports were blank. Here is the error:

ERROR DESCRIPTION:                                                 
The Net jdbc driver throws the following exception :               
COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.DB2Exception: ... CLI0100E Wrong number of  parameters.  SQLSTATE=07001                                                     
                                                                  
When executing a CallableStatement and  a streamed input  parameter                                                         
e.g.   cs.setBinaryStream(4, is, (int) myFile.length());           
is used to pass data to an INPUT parameter, and more  parameters to the stored procedure follow.      

And this is what IBM Sent me:

"NetView L3 has identified a code defect in the tdwdaemon resulting in the errors you observe.   I have opened APAR IY61174 to address the problem. 

I'll give you an update as soon as our L3 team has had a chance to build an interim fix. "
