Bhayeti,

Yes to both questions.  You can configure the tdwdaemon after installing NetVIew using the following command:

nvits_config -D <db2userid>

where db2userid is the userid for DB2 installed on NetView.

[nv-l] TEDW & Netview

Folks,

Netview 7.1.4 FP1 on AIX 5.x

Firstly, Is my understanding correct that with the
addition of TEDW support for Netview that I can
collect 'SNMP collect' information directly into a
RDBMS without having to install a TME to make use of
RIM ?

Secondly, if the above is true, can the Netview TEDW
daemon be installed/configured after Netview has been
installed or would I need to re-install Netview.

Thanks
