not sure if this question already had been discussed in this forum, but
however I think it´s worth it, so let me raise these questions again:
We would like to automate add / change / delete activities and are looking
for the best way to do it.
It had been already decided that no config check (demand poll) should be
used as we would like to rely on requests only, i.e. changes made to the
components inside netview should be triggered by officials requests.
Are you willing to share your experiences made in that area with us, i.e.
how new components get added into netview (only seedfile or rather
the loadhosts command followed by a demandpoll once)?
how to ensure that new interfaces can be added to a component
properly?
how to ensure that changes be automatically done to componets?
We already started to find the solutions for that kind of automation, but
for sure we would like to know
if you are aware of any official documents / emails / etc. dealing with that
kind of stuff?
