What you see is what you get. IBM Tivoli sells an inventory product, so inventory and asset management is not a primary NetView function. Try ovobjprint > ovobjprint.out and browse the result. If there's information in there you can use, great. If not, then you are out of luck. You can use nvdbformat to format a report of what's in the object database (which is what you just printed out above) or you can write your own script to extract what you want from that outfile. Does anyone know if Netview is able to provide any reporting? Meaning I would like to produce a report for Inventory & Asset Management on all of the devices in the network. Thanks, Frank J.
