I have used both these commands successfully with 7.1.4 - not sure what
their official supported status is though, so do make sure you have a
database backup first....

Do the following commands work in 7.x ?
ovtopofix -r </selection name or object ID>/

ovwdbdmap -d </selection name or object ID>/

I used these commands back in the pre 7.x days to delete objects that
kept coming back.

If you are able to find unique attributes to these sets of objects,
you could write an API routine utilizing OVwDbDeleteObject looping
thourgh each map/submap/object list. Ive done this before, but it was
more of a tool to clean up messes I created in the OVwDB on
development benches.
Best of luck,

In most cases those "Please" objects are removed automatically by
map synchronization. You should only have to worry about the ones
that are still there. If you find them in the map, using Locate,
then delete them 'from all submaps'.
If you find the same objects the next time, then it is one of two
cases, I think:
1) You have more than one map. Look under File..Open. If there is
more than just the default map, open the others and do the deletes
there as well.
2) The object have been rediscovered. Check the object numbers.
Each time they are discovered, they will have different object
numbers.

[nv-l] Problem with object
Hi,
When I clean up the databases (ovmapcount -a, ovmapcount -b,
ovtopofix -A), I look at the output of ovtopofix and there are
lines as:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (xxxxxxxxx) -- Please delete object from
all maps.
some objects them encounter them in the map and I erase them, but
other but other objects not encounter them, and in the following
clean up
they continue appearing.
can nvmaputil.sh be useful to me ?
Un saludo,
