The format of each "launch command line" is key/value pairs separated with
spaces.
The possible key
names are:
serverinfo (e.g.
"itchy.tivoli.com:8080"
or "primary.tivoli.com:8080,failover.tivoli.com:8080")
host (e.g.
"itchy.tivoli.com")
port (e.g. "8080")
scripturl (e.g. "/netview/scripts/submapexplorer.js")
targetnode (e.g. "scratchy.tivoli.com" or "146.84.242.83")
sctargetnode (e.g. "11:scratchy.tivoli.com")
logconfig (e.g. "/tmp/log4j.properties")
username (e.g. "netview")
password (e.g. "netview")
javaoptions (e.g. "-Xmx64m")
nvwcoptions (e.g. "--logconfig n:/wc-log4j.properties")
of these keys the only ones that MUST be specified are: - either
'serverinfo' or 'host' (and optionally 'port' [default is
8080])
- scripturl - either 'targetnode' or 'sctargetnode' [ Use 'sctargetnode'
when using the convention that the
'targetnode'
to be considered is represented by all characters AFTER the first colon. ] Example launch command lines
(passed through stdin or via a TCP port):
serverinfo=spud:8080
username=root password=root scripturl=/netview/scripts/submapexplorer.js
targetnode=nvnt10.ma.dev.tivoli.com
host=spud port=8080 username=root scripturl=/netview/scripts/submapexplorer.js targetnode=nvnt10.ma.dev.tivoli.com javaoptions="-Xmx88m" Regards,

The webconsole has two start .bat files. nvwc.bat and nvlaunch.bat I guess that TEC uses the nvlaunch.bat Does anyone have the syntax for the "stdinFile" (se below) ???? From the nvlaunch.bat file: :USAGE echo Usage: nvlaunch.bat [port <portNumber>] [stdin <stdinFile>] echo nvlaunch.bat [/h] echo Where: echo portNumber : TCP Port number for the NetView Web Console launcher echo stdinFile : A file containing launch commands echo /h : This usage statement echo Regards Per Lütkemeyer Teamleader, Systems Management ------------------------------------------- DMdata a/s Bytoften, DK8240 Risskov E-mail: pel@dmdata.dk, web: www.dmdata.dk |
