I synchronize primary and backup systems by tarring up a bunch of stuff,
transferring it to the other system, stopping all daemons, and un-tarring it, and
restarting the daemons from scratch.
For the java console, I have found that taking all of this does the job. It gets
users, mibs loaded, custom apps added, and the custom explorer view. Don't ask me
for a more granular explaination. I have not had the nerve to try for just parts
of it. I do know, however, that this transfers log files that you should probably
clean out beforehand or afterword.

where are located the configuration files for the java console ? i was
thinking that it was under "/usr/OV/conf"...
