Tomas,
I'm sorry, I don't know the syntax for windows because I've only worked
with Netview for Unix.

Hello Helen,
thanks for your reply. I'm using Netview 7.1.4 on a win 2003 server and
when using commas as seprator, which works fine in HP NNM, I get a message
that says:

"Invalid instance regular expression: "13,15,17,18". Use chars in set
0123456789.[]\()*+?$|-=:^{}"

Regards
Tomas

Hello Tomas,

In your case you should use a comma as separator : 13,15,17,18

Regards,
Helen

Subject: [nv-l] Fwd: Collect data

Hello,
I'm trying to collect data from a range of instances. The range goes from
1 to 50 and I would like to collect data only from instance 13, 15, 17 &
18.
What is the right syntax for this? I can't find any good examples in the
documentation for my case.

Best regards
Tomas Ward
