I have NetView 7.1.4 FP2 installed on SuSE 9.1 Professional. So far it
looks good except for a quirk with the man command. I have added
/usr/OV/man to my MANPATH but no "man <netview command>" works.
Inspecting other man pages on this system, they all follow the
convention that an entry in, say, man1, has a name of <command>.1. I
have copied /usr/OV/man/man8/netmon to /usr/OV/man/man8/netmon.8 and
"man netmon" now works.
Can anyone else comment on this? If there are no better ways around, I guess I can just write a wee script to rename all the man entries but I'm hoping for a cleaner answer.....
