we use NV 7.1.2 and 7.1.4 on Sun/Solaris 8 and Win2000. When a node goes down, the event browser shows the message, but in trapd.log it is a large time, to represent the event. it seems, that there must be a next event (node up), to trigger and send the node up or down event to trapd.log. please help me charly -- charly DSL Komplett von GMX +++ Supergünstig und stressfrei einsteigen!
