Yep - I have this working.
NetView seems to have a hard assumption that /usr/bin/netscape will
exist. Here is a cut from one of my documents:
1.
The NetView online manuals assume that there is a
/usr/bin/netscape. The standalone command for the online manuals
is /usr/OV/service/onlinebookchk (a shellscript). This script
makes a symlink to /usr/local/bin/mozilla if /usr/bin/netscape
doesn't exist. To use Firefox, simply delete /usr/bin/netscape and
put in a new symlink:
1.
ln -s /opt/MozillaFirefox/bin/firefox.sh /usr/bin/netscape
2.
It is not necessary to set the MOZILLA_HOME environment variable
This assumes that your firefox startup is in
/opt/MozillaFirefox/bin/firefox.sh.
I have been constructing a document recently on Tivoli on the Linux
platform (RedHat 7.2 and SuSE 9.1 Professional). This Firefox thing is
one of the little funnies I found. I have put a copy of the document on
the NetView TUG site - here is the link if anyone is interested. Note
that this is definite "Work In Progress" - no guarantees - your mileage
may vary!
