Dear Tivoli Gurus,
We have Tivoli Netview 7.1.4 (fixpack 2) in AIX 5.2 (latest fix). We are almost monitoring 200 links. The problem is when we add new instance (new links) Netview stops collecting data for 2 hours. After 2 hours it starts working good ie there is not flat files in snmpcollect. We are facing this problems recently.
Recently we have enable nvsniffer command and it automatically detected server like FTP server,Lotusserver etc.... Actually we dont need this nvsniffer at all.I hope after we enabled this nvsniffer we are facing this. Does it really matters? Please let me how to stop nvsniffer.
Expecting answers eagerly...
Regards
Gopalan V
