Check out the Programmer’s Reference for the Windows version of NetView when you are looking for this kind of detail.

 

For the Windows version the flags tell the Trapd process to not log the traps but to put them in the ODBC database (Access in your instance).  The database is to be purged when it reaches 5000 events and it’s base size is 1000 events.

Hello bis,

Is anyone able to give me the sense of the default launching parameters of the following command :

trapd.exe -n -z -a 5000 -m 1000

Any help welcomed and appreciated.

N.B. : NetView for Windows v7.1.4 FP1 and DB = Windows 2000 Server's , access format
