Are you talking about intefaces with ip addresses, as on routers? You can use the nvmaputil command to unmanage those. You can make a list and run your own little script that invokes nvmaputil --delete for each one. If you are talking about ports on switches that dont appear on the Netview map, they are not managed by Netview anyway. Perhaps you are talking about Switch Analyzer. There was just a long discussion about that on this list. I'm not sure the answer was clear, but it sounded like there was some capability to limit ITSA events for certain cases.

Cordially,

[nv-l] globally unmanage some switches interfaces

HI Folks,
NV 7.1.3 FP3 SOL
My Client has created a list of Interfaces to be managed and wants to ignore the rest. i.e Client wants to manage only port 1-13 and wants to ignore the other ports.

Q1: Is there a file that I can configure to list all interfaces to be ignored?

Q2: Any idea how to achieve this?

Thank You,
Meyos
