Have you checked AIX's SNMP settings? I wonder if your smux
settings have changed From: owner-nv-l@lists.us.ibm.com [mailto:owner-nv-l@lists.us.ibm.com] On Behalf Of Delaire, Patrick Sent: Thursday, February 09, 2006 4:16 PM To: nv-l@lists.us.ibm.com Subject: [nv-l] FP004 Just installed FP004
on 7.1.4 with AIX 5.2. The installation went fine, everything check out
O.K
Re-booted the server
and received: "IBM Incorrect community name (authentication
failure)"
I have tried
everything to resolve this issue, utilized xnmsnmpconf to clear cache,
databases, check all xxxsnmp files
looks good. I
am able to snmpwalk the device but nothing seems to resolve the
problem.
Could this be
something with FP004? or have I missed something.
