Hi,

Would this give you what you need...

ovtopodump -l "hostname"|grep PHYSICAL|awk {'print $3'}

Subject: [nv-l] Host linng address

    Does anybody know how I can extract just the LINK address of a host
IP from the NV database, without any other info or header text? I
need just the mac address of a node for a test I need to run but do not
want to query the host itself.

So far the simplest is using the command ovtopodump -L "hostname" but it

also returns other info and column names.

Thanks for any help.
