Thread-topic: Incorrect router status

Hello All.

I want to get some comments about strange behavior of out Netview server.

We Have Netview 7.1.4 FP04 + Switch Analyzer 1.3 installed on Wondows 2003 Ent. Server.

In our map there are about 20 routers and 15 switches.

When router goes down it has critical status and red color on all submaps (IP Internet and IP Networks)

When router completely goes back it has normal status (green color) on IP Internet submap and Major (yellow) on all IP Network submaps, attached to it.

All router interfaces have normal (green) status on all submaps. All attached networks has Major (yellow status), but must be NORMAL!!!!!

If I use manage/unmanage procedure regardless that router it take normal (green) status on all submaps.

As you can see status calculation does not work as expected.

Can you see that situation before or have some recommendations how to fix it.

Dmitry Baturin.
