Thread-topic: SSL access to Web Client failing

After following the instructions in the release notes for NetView  7.1.4 FP 4 on a Dell 1750 running Red Hat Enterprise 3 I get the following message.  Can anyone tell me if this is the client or the server failing?  Any ideas what I need to do to make a connection happen on port 8443?

    2006-07-26 17:00:52,668 [Thread-2] INFO  com.tivoli.netview.auth.client.LoginPane  - authentication error -- java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
