Aren't those the tables that are created by the tdwdaemon? "tdw" as in
"Tivoli Data Warehouse"? They are described in the NetView Warehouse
Implementation Guide, which is tied to the various releases of the TDW.
And all of them say that the schemas are published in the Warehouse
documentation, as I said, though the details about what the fields and data
sources are for those tables is given in the WEP Implementation Guide.

It is my understanding that to use NetView for Windows with DB2 and without
using the Warehouse is a violation of your license agreement, because only
the Warehouse pays royalties to DB2. NetView could not afford to, since
most users get it free when they purchase TEC. But I'll refer you to your
IBM marketing person for confirmation on that. As far as I know, the only
RDBMS that you can use with NetView for Windows without having the
Warehouse, are SQL Server and Jet (MS Access).

I am talking about the DB that Netview Creates in DB2 during initial
installation, i.e. Tables like Netview.Current_Avail,
Netview.Historical.Avail, Netview.Nodes etc.

Also, note that TDW has been moved into ITM; and that that version
(2.1x) does NOT include support for Netview.

Unfortunately, I went down this path earlier this week; and that is the
"official" word I have received from those in the know ...
