7.1.4 was the first release to support AIX 5.2.   That said it may very
well install and run all right.  But that's not a combination we have tried
in the lab nor one we have agreed to support, which simply means that if
there's a fundamental issue related to OS differences between 5.1 and 5.2
lurking in the code and you are the one who finds it,  you'll have to
upgrade to 7.1.4 to resolve it.  We won't be working 7.1.3 in some future
FixPack to resolve it.

That's probably not what you wanted to hear, but those are the risks as I
understand them.

Good afternoon-

Can anyone confirm for me if I can install 7.1.3 on AIX 5.2?  Release notes
don't say anything about 5.2, and I've seen references to AIX not being
supported on 5.3.
