Thanks to John for pointing out that the starting date should really be October 16 instead of October 23.
(October 16 - November 17 is five weeks). We need to end the residency before the holiday week of Thanksgiving.
I have received several question about non-ibm participation. The answer is yes, partners and customers are welcome to apply for the residency.
Some people have asked about working remotely. I will look at each request separately. Please put your availability in the 'comment' section at the bottom of the nomination form. If you cannot make the full 5 weeks, please let me know how long you could be in Austin. I will prefer 5 weeks, but I know that is impossible sometimes and may agree to an exception when appropriate.
I look forward to the creation and delivery of a good Redbook to this community and look forward to participation from available members of it.
