I am not trying to change James's answer at all - basically 2.8 is
unsupported; however.....
... so is SuSE 9.1 Professional. I made this install work by playing
around with the new nvPrqchk.conf files. This makes it much more
possible to tweak things around and get things installed....
.... it's still not supported though!
