If you are migrating from 7.1.3 to 7.1.4 just so that you can then migrate to 7.1.5, no fix packs are required.
Hi James, I have a question? I have 7.1.3 with FP 3. What do you recommend to proceed with upgrades to get the latest version? does it need to get FP while upgrading? Which is the most stable version to upgrade to? Thanks as usual, Larry James Shanks <jshanks@us.ibm.com> wrote: Migration from 7.1.3 to 7.1.5 is not supported. The way migration works is that at every level we add the new stuff to your migrated stuff as part of the install, changes to trapd.conf, oid_to_type, and so on. So skipping 7.1.4 means you would not have what was added there and your migrated files would not be complete. Furthermore, migration direct from 7.1.3 to 7.1.5 was not tested, so no one can tell you what to add in nor what other problems you might encounter. You don't have to stay at 7.14 long, but if you want to migrate your system as opposed to installing new, then you'll have to go to 7.1.4 first. You can do them back to back, on the same day, if you like. Any issues with going from NV 7.1.3 to 7.1.5? Can I skip 7.1.4?
