Use xnmtrap, locate the trap, and click "Modify". Then change the Event Log Message to use just $15 rather than $* You can alter the fixed text to make it more readable too.

Aix 5.2 ML 9-03 Netview 7.1.5- I'm getting the following traps and variables. If I want variable [15] to only display in the trap, how do I do this?
