One of my colleagues says she thinks this means that you are trying to connect a 7.1.4 client to a 7.1.5 web server. That sort of mix-n-match used to work in prior releases but no longer. You must re-install all your clients with current code

[NV-L] netview 7.1.5 - no event in java console

Hello,

After a netview 7.1.5 install on AIX 5.3, I noticed that there is no event showing in the event browser on the java console.

in the console windows, I see:

2007-02-27 11:40:49,871 [Thread-14] ERROR com.tivoli.netview.tess.client.EventBrowser - askForRecords, unable to get Events:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at java.util.Calendar.setTime(Calendar.java:1001)
at java.text.SimpleDateFormat.format(SimpleDateFormat.java:807)
at java.text.SimpleDateFormat.format(SimpleDateFormat.java:800)
at java.text.DateFormat.format(DateFormat.java:326)
at com.tivoli.netview.tess.client.TimeTableColumn.parseData(Unknown Source)
at com.tivoli.netview.tess.client.EventBrowser$serverListener.askForRecords(Unknown Source)
at com.tivoli.netview.tess.client.EventBrowser$serverListener.run(Unknown Source)

It seams like it has to do with the DST change ...
any idea ?

Thanks
