[NV-L] RE: PMR 40491 - had to stop/start NV

Mike,

Due to very slow NetView performance issues to which I could not find a cause, I stopped and restarted NV today.

 

I'll explain the "performance issues" when I speak to you on the phone.

 

After that the Problem Nodes and Unknown smartsets returned, and new critical devices were appearing in the ProblemNodes smartset.

 

I am scheduling a test tonight to interrupt circuits to the buena-vista and harbor-gs routers to see if the IP Internet symbol appears.

 

I did not try deleting a smartset though. I wanted to wait until I spoke with you.
